Tips To Creating A Fake Fireplace

Published by under DIY

There is a certain appeal that comes from having your very own fireplace. Just because you cannot install a real fireplace into your lounge room does not mean that you cannot have one at all. If you are willing to spend a little time and effort you can create your own fireplace.

People like having a fireplace for various reasons. Some like the perception of grandeur or style that they think it brings to their house, others like to use it as a focal or decorating point, while others see it as simply as a way of heating their home during the winter chills.

Whatever your reason for wanting a fireplace, you may not necessarily be able to have the real thing. If you don’t own the property you have no say in what goes in and are stuck with whatever’s already there. Sometimes all it takes is a little thinking outside the square to create a room for everyone to admire.

There are two ways of looking at fake fireplaces, those with fake fires in them and those that have the mantle and surround only with no fire. Either situation is acceptable style wise, although if you have an existing method of heating you could best use the fake fire surround to change the appearance of the current system.

Surround an Existing Heater:

If you are adding a fake surround and mantle to an existing heating system you need to ensure that it is done properly otherwise you risk making the area look uncoordinated and out of place. If you are using an existing heater the general principle is to blend and distract. This means that the surround and mantle should blend in with the rest of the room.

Consider using the same wall color, or at worst one shade darker. Where possible try to match the color of the heater paneling to create a block of color rather than distinct color patches. Limit ornamentation on the mantelpiece so as not to attract too much attention to the immediate area.

A fireplace with No Heater:

If you are not using an existing heating system there are fewer limitations. Many people choose to create a fake fireplace and use the cavity where the fire would be to display items or place a couple of pieces of wood if they want it to look authentic.

Add some secondhand bricks to the floor of the cavity to give it an authentic fireplace look. If this is your purpose for creating the surround, you want to attract attention to the area. You can be more liberal with the decoration that adorns the mantle but be sure not to overcrowd the area.

Regardless of the motive for creating a fake fireplace, you can create a simple surround with relatively little trouble and change the appearance of your room. If you choose a style that suits your needs and pay attention to detail you can have a fireplace that looks like it has always been there.

Interior Design – Do It Yourself Tips

Published by under DIY

Your home is your sanctuary, the place where you feel safe and you want it to be as beautiful as your thoughts, but you lack experience in interior design. Don’t worry! There are some tips that can help even seven years old succeed. So how are you going to create the interior design that will mesmerize your friends and relatives? And how are you going to fashion a positive ambiance for your home? Here are a few tips:

1. Choose a theme. Let’s say you are a passionate collector of butterflies. Why hide it? Choose this theme to decorate your home. Butterflies go well with flowers and other nature elements: leaves, ferns and trees. Place an original painting of a butterfly on the wall you want to set the focus on. You could also display your butterfly collections in a special arrangement. Your hobbies provide the personal note each room needs so much and many so-called designer rooms lack.

2. Choose your colors. Use a color scheme to help you choose the best colors for your home. You should use the colors that make you feel good – after all this is your home and you don’t need any fancy designer to tell you pink doesn’t match with green. Use some color accents to “spice up” the room. But remember: a single color should dominate circa 75 % of a room. Don’t over-color your rooms, as you might get a negative mood.

3. Choose your patterns. As per colors, you could use whatever you fancy, but don’t overdo it! Three is a crowd, but an acceptable crowd. More than three patters will lead to chaos. For your butterfly theme, you could use flower patterns and circles. Vary their scale: some small, some big. Spread them around the room and create a balance of color and patters. Don’t be afraid to try out new things. Let your heart decide. Believe it: your heart knows best!

4. Keep it simple. You need a place to relax, a place of comfort after a hard day at work. So keep it simple. Too much furniture adds weight to a room: gone is your sense of freedom. An over-furnished room is often gloomy and dull. Keep it simple, keep it functional and you are on the right path.

5. Light means life. You don’t want to live in a dark room. It has nothing to do with the fear of darkness (maybe you are not one of those afraid of the dark) but light is essential, especially in its natural form, as it kills bacteria and viruses, due to its UV emissions. Artificial lighting should be chosen carefully. There are enough manufacturers offering economical lighting objects. Choose LEDs or other economy lamps. Better opt for a more expensive product that has an extended warranty. Why should you pay for inferior quality? There’s a rule you should never ignore: you get what you pay for.

These basic five tips will not transform you over night into an interior designer, but they will certainly help you decorate your home with taste and a sense of professionalism.

Cabinet Updates – 10 Tips

Published by under Uncategorized

1.One thing at a time! When taking on a home improvement project, it’s best not to overwhelm one’s self. It’s important to pick your battles one at a time. Doing a complete kitchen remodel can be costly and time consuming. This article will focus on an easy cabinet renovation for just about any level of do-it-yourselfer. You can save the floor, counter top, and appliance replacements for further down the road. We are choosing to renovate the existing cabinet boxes for two reasons, a) simply the cost, and b) the existing boxes have more longevity than anything on the market today that would replace them.

2.Paint the cabinet boxes.Older homes generally have dark heavy stain on them. To remove or refinish the stain would be rather time consuming with limited results. The easiest and most dramatic course is to paint the cabinet boxes. This can be a plain white for easy upkeep and repair, or something more colorful for a more contemporary look.

3.Replace with new doors. One of the biggest obstacles with a cabinet renovation is how to salvage damaged doors. They rarely line up well and often times are chipped, cracked or just plain abused. The most effective way to solve this is to replace them with a stunning raised panel door in any of a variety of hardwoods or simply use a paint grade door that you can match or accent the color you painted your cabinet boxes.

4.Adjustable new hinges.Once you’ve elected to replace your doors, now it’s time to decide what kind of hinge you will want to use. A typical face mount hinge leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to installing and aligning your doors. They leave zero room for adjustment just shy of bending and tweaking them to fit your needs. A wonderful alternative is a euro style hidden hinge. Many of these offer various degrees of adjustment with some offering up to 6 ways of adjustment to make sure every door fits just right!

5.And new drawer fronts.Along with replacing your doors, you will also be replacing your drawer fronts to match your new doors. This can lead to a whole new set of problems. Will you be able to simply remove your existing drawer fronts? Even if you can, do the drawers still work properly? Or do they stick and grind on old hardware that is worn out? Not to worry, there are solutions for that as well.

6.New boxes and slides.A lot of times you will find yourself fighting with a drawer on a regular basis. This can be frustrating and at times when company is around, it can also be embarrassing. When renovating your cabinets, also take the extra step to replace your old worn out drawer boxes and slide hard ware. You’ll be glad you did!

7.Painting the interiors. One area that tends to get over looked is the interiors of your cabinets. When renovating your cabinets, be sure to address this area too. Painting the interior of your cabinets can make the insides look like new. This really complements all the time money and effort you put into the exteriors. Again white is the easiest to work with but an accent color can be exciting too!

8.Removing the shelf paper. Is the shelving paper old, dated, and tore-up? Then it’s probably time to go! The easiest method for removal is to use a simple household hair drier. This is just the right temperature to loosen the glue. You can also use the assistance of a putty knife for those more difficult areas.

9.Maybe shelf replacement?Maybe the shelves themselves are sagging or warped. Now is a good time to replace them. ¾ inch melamine is a good choice for a strong durable solution. And future cleaning will be a breeze!

10.Sink cabinet bottom replacement. One last problem area you will may like to address is right beneath the sink. The one place that you store a good number of cleaning agents that can do damage when left sitting for long periods of time. Or possibly you had a leaky sink at some point. This spot too can be remedied with a 1/4 inch overlay.

Three Choices in Kitchen Cabinet Refacing

Published by under Uncategorized

There is a wide variety of color and finishing options for kitchen cabinet refacing. There are both solid colors and a variety of wood grain finishes to choose from. Some are very simple patterns and others are more decorative. The quality and cost vary according to the finish material used in refacing the cabinetry.

Cabinet Refacing Materials

There are three basic materials used in most kitchen refacing projects. These are plastic laminates, wood veneer and rigid thermofoils. Plastic laminate is the least expensive option. It also has the lowest quality in overall appearance. The wood grains aren’t very convincing. It’s fairly easy to tell the difference between the laminates and natural wood, even from a distance.

Wood veneer looks more realistic than either plastic laminate or rigid thermofoil. It is the most popular choice for adding the beauty and warmth of wood to the kitchen. It is also the most expensive option in refacing. Wood veneer is available in nearly every wood tone. The most popular are maple, oak, birch and cherry woods.

Rigid thermofoils are the newest material used in remodeling cabinetry. These consist of fiberboard material covered with a pressure molded vinyl foil. There are fewer solid colors and wood grain choices in this material. The wood grains are more realistic in appearance when compared to plastic laminates at a distance. The look isn’t as good when you are looking at them close up.

Rigid thermofoils are much more pliable than laminates. They can be molded into a wide range of styles. This gives more decorative options in the look of the cabinet doors. They can be molded into raised panels or arches. More detail can be added with this material. The cost is higher than plastic laminates, but lower than wood veneers.

Other Kitchen Cabinet Refacing Options

In most cases, the hinges and drawer tracks are not replaced. Depending on their condition, you may want to consider having them replaced during the remodeling. If drawers are no longer opening smoothly, it is a good idea to replace the tracks. Some people opt for new drawers, rather than using the old components with new fronts. The cost is higher, but not considerably.

Other updates can be easily done at the same time. This is a good time to replace the countertops. The old ones will need to be taken out and put back anyway. If the counters are in good shape, it’s not a problem to put them back. If they are worn or not really what you want in the new kitchen, this is a good time to invest in new ones.

The sink is another consideration. It will also need to be taken out. Whether the sink is not in the best shape, or you just don’t like it, replacing it at the same time won’t add significantly to the overall budget. Sinks are generally not very expensive, depending on the type and material used. This is a good time to have a new sink installed. New sinks and counters will give your kitchen a complete makeover.

Make Your Kitchen Cabinets Look Great For Less

Published by under Uncategorized

Kitchen cabinets are one of the most prominent features in your kitchen. If your cabinets are looking worn or drab, it affects the whole look and feel of your kitchen.

The good news is there are several options available to you that can easily update your kitchen with a modern look. Some options are expensive and others are more economical.

If you like the cabinet layout and the cabinets are in good condition, refacing or resurfacing your kitchen cabinets may be a good choice for you.

Refacing or resurfacing consists of replacing the cabinet doors and drawer fronts with new ones and then treating the cabinet frame with a matching veneer. There are many types of woods and plastics available for this, so your options are virtually unlimited.

To get the best results, it’s always best to hire a professional to do this work. It can be quite expensive, though, ranging anywhere from $3500 to over $10,000. The work usually takes 2-4 days, depending on how many cabinets and drawers are involved.

If your cabinets are weak or damaged or you just want to change their design, replacing them entirely is another option. Replacement cabinets may not cost much more than refacing/resurfacing them, either. Brand new cabinets can add more usefulness to your kitchen and increase the value of your home, as well

If resurfacing or replacement of your kitchen cabinets doesn’t fit your budget, there are much less expensive alternatives.

My first choice for renewing the look of kitchen cabinets is paint. What a difference a coat or paint can make!

For a retro look you can use splashy colors such as pink, turquoise or orange. Be brave and paint designs on the cabinets or use stencils or a faux finish. Add some matching hardware and you’ve got new cabinets for less than $300!

Another idea is to permanently remove all the cabinet doors. This wouldn’t be appropriate or even functional for every style of kitchen. It might work well for a cottage kitchen design or even an antique Victorian design. You could line the shelves with lace or doilies that flap over the edge to add to the look.

An alternative to completely removing the cabinet doors is to replace them with old windows that are the right size. You could also create new doors from different types of materials such as bamboo or fabric.

Another idea for resurfacing kitchen cabinets is to wallpaper them or apply contact paper. A plain pattern is best and, of course, make sure it is washable. You don’t necessarily need to cover the whole surface. You could cut out different shapes or patterns and apply them to the cabinet surface. This would be a good short-term solution to freshening up your kitchen.

So there you have it. There are many ways to make your kitchen cabinets look great without breaking the bank!

Washing Machines, How Do I Choose The One For Me?

Published by under Uncategorized

When choosing a washing machine many people look for the “cheapest” option assuming that all washing machines are the same. After all, they just wash clothes don’t they? Well, it’s true that they all wash clothes; but how they wash them differs, how long the machine will last differs, and how much they cost to run differs. We all want clean clothes but we don’t all have the same needs from a washing machine. There are literally hundreds of options available so how do you choose? I have listed three questions that you need to consider and given my views as the answers to help you make your decision. At the end of this article I have given a short summary to use when actually shopping for your new machine.

Q1. Is the cheapest washing machine really the cheapest?

A1. The cheapest washing machines available generally have fewer features and are lower rated than more expensive models. Ok, so most of us don’t use all the features and programs anyway but if you make use of quick wash and half load programs when necessary you will reduce your running costs and a cheaper machine might not have these options available. The ratings on a washing machine refer to water consumption, energy efficiency and drying efficiency. With more of us on water meters and constant increases in electricity bills the benefit of a good rating on water and energy consumption is obvious but what benefit is a good drying rating? Well, if you regularly use a tumble dryer you will find that a good drying rating and a high spin speed on your washing machine can reduce drying time by up to 30 minutes on a full load, thus saving on running costs for your dryer. So in answer to question 1, the cheapest machine to buy is probably not the cheapest to run and the savings you make initially will be used up in running costs for the life of the machine.

Q2. How do I know how much to spend?

A2. Washing machines range from under £200 to over £1000 so knowing what is most suitable is very important. In answer 1 we covered the basics about cheap machines, so why not look for the cheapest machine that still has the programs I most use and good ratings? Generally this is a good point but there are a few other factors involved. If you live alone and use the washing machine perhaps once a week then do go for the cheapest with the right programmes and best ratings, but if you are a family of 5 and all play rugby three times a week the machine is probably going to get a lot more use. The life expectancy of a washing machine is calculated on amount of use and purchase price, therefore if you use the machine a lot you will probably get a longer life from one that cost a bit more. As a guide normal use is usually based on two full loads a week one on a hot temperature and one on a warm temperature, and washing machine life expectancy is 2-8 years (2 years being for lower priced machines, 8 for higher priced machines). Using this as a basis consider how often your machine will be used and if you expect 4 washes a week reduce the life expectancy by half etc. If you do four or more loads a week or particularly dirty or heavy loads you probably need to go for a more expensive machine or accept that it will need replacing every few years. Quite often you will find that a more expensive machine will include a longer warranty, take this into account when looking at the price. A five year warranty could cost you anywhere between £100 and £200 so deduct that from the price of the machines offering a free 5 year warranty when comparing, or add it to the cost of the cheaper machine and then take out a warranty separately.

Q3. Is the look of the machine important?

A3. It is surprising how many people buy washing machines based on what they look like. The look of a washing machine is of little importance if it is in a laundry room where it is rarely seen but it is important if it is in the kitchen on constant display. If you are going to have to look at it all the time buy one that you do like the look of, but bare in mind that whether it works and saves you money is far more important that how “pretty” it is. If you really hate the look of a washing machine in your kitchen go for a fully integrated model that can be hidden behind a false door to match your kitchen units, but this option will cost more with no benefits other than the cosmetic affect on your kitchen.

Summary:

Choose a machine that has good ratings (Triple A or A+AA) as this will save money on running costs (and protects the environment which benefits us all). Buy a machine that can handle the amount and type of use you will put it to (use price as a guide to build quality but always have a look at the specifications). Take extended warranties into account when comparing prices. Decide if the look of the machine is important and if it is dismiss all the models you don’t like the look of. Finally ask the sales person their opinion only after you have narrowed it down to a few choices. The sales person can’t possibly know how often you will be using the machine and for what type of loads or whether you will like the look of the machine so you need to narrow the possibilities down first. The sales person will be able to discuss the differences between 2 or 3 machines and give you some advice on whether the machine really is suitable for you, even when shopping online don’t be afraid to email the retailer with your final selections and your expected usage and ask their advice.

Finally, shop around. Here are two places I find to be helpful and carry a good range of washing machines:
Direct Electricals
and

Dishwasher Fever – What These Large Appliances Offer!

Published by under Uncategorized

It wasn’t that long ago, sometime in the 1950’s, when dishwashing machines emerged as the dish cleaning staple in the kitchen of most homes. At the time, however, variety was limited and getting dishes clean was still a kink manufacturers had not quite worked out.

Fortunately, much has changed since then. If you’re out looking for a new machine you can choose from a high end model that fully integrates into your kitchen cabinetry and has whisper quiet operation so that you don’t hear it running; or choose an economical dishwasher, one without the bells and whistles, but that has the ability to clean very well.

Basically, there are several types of dishwashers; however we’ll stick with the most common type, the traditional 24” built-in model that fits beneath your counter. These models are broadly manufactured. In fact, appliance manufacturers such as: Miele, Bosch, Maytag, Whirlpool, Kitchennaid, Kenmore and Jenn-Air often make several lines or 24” dishwashers to choose from.

For example, Miele has Incognito, Touchtronic and Novotronic; KitchenAid has the I Series, P Series, S Series, U Series; and Bosch has the Integra and Evolution line.

While it is useful to know something about the various lines, it is not the only approach to selection. Instead, you can determine which features are most important to you: top rack adjusts for loading flexibility, stainless steel tub, delay start time option, half load option, and so on. Of course, if you like the manufacturer, knowing that Novotronic is Miele’s most affordable 24” machine, whereas Incognito is Miele’s top of the line, is helpful.

What’s remarkable about today’s dishwashers is that most perform very well at the job of cleaning. What you’re paying then, are for features and technology. Features that will cost you more: quiet running (and there are different levels of quiet!), adjustable racks, cycle options and integrated design.

To shop, consider your lifestyle and the features that you need. You can buy a dishwasher for as little as $300 or you can spend $1500; not much when you consider the cost of a kitchen remodel!

Keep in mind the dish cleaning space you need inside the dishwasher. Many machines offer a half load run cycle which can be extremely useful when you’ve got a smaller dirty-dish load.

Also, you will find plenty of space in many machines. Jenn-Air and Maytag offer a model with 3 racks. Keep in mind capacity. Some machines wash 10 place settings, others wash up to 14. And finally, having flexible dishwasher racks can be extremely useful, especially for dinner parties, where large size platters and dinnerware need space to get clean!

Give Your Home Some Flair with a Bookcase

Missison Oak Bookcase

In order for a home to feel complete it needs some good furniture. Quality furniture is the result of loving care and hard work. Crafting good quality furniture is a tradition that it has been handed down from generation to generation, perfected over time in order to provide the lovely pieces many people enjoy in their homes. Of all furniture pieces that we have in our house is, but cases can take up more space then other pieces. Some of the larger bookcases can be considered to be among the most gargantuan of home furnishings. Some of these huge bookcases are so big that they’d need to be moved into a room in pieces and assembled once inside.

For a home to have some real character, it is critical to have at least a few good quality items of furniture. Some of the most dominant pieces of furniture in a home are the dining room table and in many cases the bookcases. The bookcase will often reflect who we are, and tell a little bit about our education and our taste. As we begin to fill bookcases the items can become incredibly telling about what we do, where we have been, what we like, and what we know. Of course bookcases are normally filled with books, but many people use their bookcase to display their prized possessions like diplomas, daily portraits, trinkets and mementos. When we look beyond what we fill it with, the piece of furniture itself can be most telling of all.

There are all sorts of bookcases, making it possible to match nearly any taste and home the core. Traditionally, there wasn’t very much variations among the bookcases, but today things are different. You can find bookcases with wood or glass doors, barrister, latter, or open bookcases. Of course there are very few things that can be compared to an antique oak bookcase. The there is nothing that can compare to the detail and intricacy of the craftsmanship, the durability and quality of the wood, and the exactitude of the union’s.

An antique old bookcase is something that people prize and admire. The value alone of an antique look case is enough for most people to desire one for their own homes. Regardless of the value, you need to consider whether or not it will fit well in your home. Will the color of the wood go well with the overall theme of your home? Does its size present any problem; is it too tall or too short? Never rush in to purchasing a bookcase, wait until you find the perfect one for your home. When you see the right one, you will know it.

Keep in mind that you will need to find a solid item with strong shelves if you plan to use your book case to display books. Don’t buy an old piece of junk that will fall apart within weeks of putting things on its shelves.

Another consideration, if your buying your bookshelves for a home office make sure that you can always go back and getting matching pieces like oak desks, filing cabinets or credenzas.

Compact Refrigerator – Help On How To Choose One

Published by under Uncategorized

What Are The Reasons You Would Want To Buy A Compact Refrigerator?

You may need one to put in your new wet bar or den. You may have a son or daughter who is heading off on their own for the first time to a new apartment or to college. You may even want to put one in your office. Whatever the reason, you will want to do some shopping around before you make the purchase to make sure that you are getting the best compact refrigerator to meet your needs at the best price to fit your budget. Once you are armed with the information you can walk with confidence into any department store, home improvement store, or appliance store, or even to go online and buy a refrigerator.

Assess Your Finances

The first thing that you will need to do as with any big ticket purchase is to assess your financial situation. This will help you to determine not only the size, but also the brand and features of the compact refrigerator that you will choose. You may opt for a fridge that is bigger but does not have the brand-name recognition, or you can go with a smaller model that is a well-known reputable brand-name. This is where comparison shopping before you go to buy the compact refrigerator can help. A consumer website or magazine may have ratings that will help you to narrow down your choices even further.

Where Will You Put Your Purchase?

One key factor in choosing your refrigerator will be the location. Make sure that the fridge you are choosing will fit where you are going to put it. Take out a measuring tape before you even look at a compact refrigerator and measure for the height, width, and to make sure that the door can open easily. Do you want a fridge that will fit under your counter top (a built-in model) or do you want a compact refrigerator that will fit easily on top of the counter or concealed in the corner of the room or in a supply closet? Do you want shelves just in the fridge or do you need them in the door as well? How about a freezer compartment? Is that something that you will need in your compact refrigerator? All of these things have a bearing on the price of the fridge that you will want to buy. The more features it has, the higher the cost. You will also need to choose the manufacturer based on the products that they offer.

Capacity Requirements

The capacity of a compact refrigerator typically runs from 1.5 cubic feet to 5.5 cubic feet, give or take a little. If you are only using it for holding drinks in your den your needs will be different than if you were to use it as the sole refrigerator in a studio apartment. These measurements are as important as the ones you took for the location.

The Allure Of Extra Amenities

Your compact refrigerator could have an ice maker or an ice dispenser. If that is important to you, then you need to consider that and budget for it. Most have some type of removable shelving, but do you want it to be adjustable as well? Do you need shelving in the door? If it has a freezer compartment is it frost-free? You need to make sure that it has everything you need when you buy it, because it will be impossible to do it later without buying another fridge.

There are many manufacturers who offer compact-sized refrigerators and many of them are high-quality. A good refrigerator can give you many years of service without problems. Shop around and you probably won’t be disappointed.

Buy Green Windows to Help the Environment and Lower Energy Bills

Published by under Windows

After years of inaction, people around the globe are finally starting to take notice of all the damage that we have done to the planet and our environment. People are taking action and trying to go green to help in anyway they can. Unfortunately, as a people, our technology has significantly damaged our natural environment. Think about the smoke pouring out of our factories and our car exhausts and think about all the trees we cut down. Environmentally friendly products are sprouting up around us, and most will over the years in addition to keeping the environment green, will end up keeping our pockets green with savings over the years.

If you don’t know where to start in terms of helping the environment and doing your part, you can start right from your home. You can improve your energy efficiency in a variety of different ways. One of the most significant, as well as one of the easiest, is to replace your old windows with new green windows. Old windows are not sealed and insulated properly, which allows your costly energy usage to flow outside. You’ll have to keep the heating and cooling running longer and your costs will go up. This also wastes energy that doesn’t need to be burned. Old windows also are not fitted with the Low E glass available in today’s windows and doors, giving the the “R” Factor rating available today.

So what exactly is a green window? It’s more than just a replacement window of any kind, but it can actually encompass a variety of different factors and come with many different benefits. The most basic of which is that green windows are designed with additional insulation and superior seals to keep energy loss to an absolute minimal level.

Another factor that separates green windows from other windows is the materials they are built with. They are most commonly constructed at least partially from recycled materials and they are manufactured in processes that are energy efficient. Additionally, green windows let in more natural light to your home. You can then save even more energy by keeping your lights off and getting by with sunshine.

You can easily find out yourself the merits and qualifications of different companies and brands by checking into how they are made, what they are made from and looking for any certifications they may carry. Certifications could include SFI, FSC and GreenSeal depending on what the window is made from. It’s a way to ensure that what you are buying is environmentally friendly, which will help the world and help your budget as well.

Everybody is talking about the environment, about global warming and about going green. But talking about it isn’t enough, it’s a very important time and we all have to take action and do our part. We can do this by keeping our homes green and efficient. An easy and effective way to do this is by replacing your windows with new green windows. This will also lower your energy bills each and every month, which is also important in the current economic climate that we have to deal with. Our future generations could be facing major consequences if we don’t take corrective action now, so ensure that you do your own part.

We at Somerset Hills Windows are doing our part as well to keep things we do and what we offer as environmentally friendly and affordable as we can. Stop the green from escaping your pockets in those ridiculous heating bills and the control of your heat now. Wasting energy is not environmentally friendly thing for the environment or your wallet.
